Kathy Volrath received her training in Therapeutic Massage from Anne Arundel Community College. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Certified Cancer and Mastectomy Massage Therapist, Certified Massage Cupping Practitioner, and a Certified Equine and Canine Sports Massage Therapist. She has received training in Swedish,
Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Active Isolated Stretching, Pregnancy Massage, Lymphatic Massage, Massage for Fibromyalgia, Massage for the Chronologically-Gifted, Hot Stone Massage, various biofield therapies, Reflexology, Indian Head and Foot Massage, and Raindrop Therapy.
Michele Pedersenreceived her training as a Massage Therapist at Baltimore School of Massage in 1986. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She received certifications in Reiki I and II, is a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and a Certified Wu-Ming Qigong Teacher for Breast Health.Michele is also a Certified Hypnobirthing Childbirth Instructor, providing support during natural childbirth. She has also received training in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage as well as Shiatsu Acupressure massage, Healing Touch, Reiki, Chakra Balancing, Quantum Touch, Craniosacral work, Neuromuscular, strengthening and stretching techniques for the whole body, Hot Stone Therapy, massage cupping and seaweed body wraps. Robert Ristow has been p
racticing Shiatsu and Macrobiotics for 24 years. He is a graduate of the Kushi Institute (Macrobiotics and Shiatsu) and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Michigan. He studied and worked for ten years with well-known Macrobiotic teacher, counselor, and
acupuncturist Michael Rossoff. Robert has also taught Shiatsu classes.
Lynn Breeding, M.Ac., L.Ac., AcuCare, received her Masters of Acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel MD. Tai Sophia, founded in 1978, became the first acupuncture school in the United States accredited to award the Masters degree. AcuCare has been located in Eldersburg on Liberty Road since 2006. A
s an acupuncturist, Lynn endeavors to partner with her patients to lead them to greater levels of wellness in their lives.

Lesley Vogel RD, LD has been a practicing Registered Dietitian for the past 18 years. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Food and Nutrition from Florida State University and completed her Dietetic Internship at the Yale-New Haven Hospital (affiliated with the Yale University School of Medicine). She went immediately to work at one of the nation’s premier medical institutions, the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where she remains employed on a part-time basis. In addition to her clinical work, Lesley has been honored to provide countless nutrition lectures to community groups, various businesses, dietetic interns, and medical schools. Because of her passion to spread the message of good nutrition to our youth, she is currently teaching nutrition and coordinating a Healthy Lifestyles Program at an inner city high school in Baltimore serving underprivileged students.Lesley’s goal is to reach out to the community and empower them to greater health through good nutrition with a focus on disease prevention and wellness promotion. Because she is also a wife and mother of two, Lesley is keenly aware of the nutritional challenges that face today’s individuals and families. Her dedication for providing real life solutions allows her to help people in a thoughtful, practical, and caring manner.Lesley is especially happy to join forces with Therapeutic Kneads Wellness Center to help each client by offering the information and tools necessary to achieve an abundantly healthy and fruitful life.
Tara “Earth” Murphy is a Licensed Massage Therapist. Earth received training from the Baltimore School of Massage in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai Massage and Myofascial modalities. Earth is also trained in Dynamic Body Balancing and enjoys incorporating energy therapy in her body work.
Lauren M. Campitelli, LMT, RM graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage (2004). She is both nationally certified and licensed in the State of MD. Her educational background is based in Western Massage including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial Release. She has received additional training in orthopedic massage, Thai techniques, reflexology, hot stone therapy, raindrop therapy, and ginger tea treatments. In 2006, Lauren completed her mentorship in Reiki and became certified as a Reiki Master. This journey led her to her current philosophy: the balance of union in eastern and western philosophies is of great significance and consequence when working towards creating a trusting relationship resulting in a healing experience.
Joy Loraw, RMT is a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage. She is trained in Swedish, pregnancy massage, hot/cold stone therapy, reflexology and Reiki. Her specialty is deep tissue.
Colleen O. Renehan, LMT graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2003. In addition to Swedish, Myofascial, and Deep Tissue, she is trained in Neuromuscular therapy, Orthopedic, Prenatal Massage, Active Isolated Stretching and Sports Therapy. She has been a Reiki Master since 2001. In addition to her work at Therapeutic Kneads, Colleen works in corporate massage and has a practice in Owings Mills with Dr. Risa Jampel. Colleen taught at the Massage Institute of Maryland until its close in 2010. She is an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association and was the former President of the Maryland Chapter.
Karin Follmeyer, RMP is a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage.She is State and Nationally certified.Karin is trained in Swedish Massage,Trigger Point Therapy,Deep Tissue,Myofascial release,Cranial Sacral,Sports Massage,Orthopedic Massage, Reflexology and other modalities.Her objective is to improve quality of life,range of motion and reduce stress through Therapeutic Massage.
Lucile McConnell, LMT graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage, has practiced massage for eight years and has been a massage instructor for six years. She is nationally and state certified and is a member of the AMTA. Lucile practices integrated massage, Reiki, reflexology, myofascial release, healing stone massage, pregnancy massage, orthopedic and sports massage.
